In between the remixes and electronic stuff, we have written, produced and mixed an entire soul/rnb album with Kinny. The first single, “Big Fat Liar”, is out now on Tru Thoughts. Album will follow in March. (Edit: Yes, I wrote March. I meant Monday. Anyway.. It’s out now. -Even)

The single also includes “You from This Sting” and an unplugged version of “Water for Chocolate”, a track we produced for her first album.

Circumstances beyond the control of Tru Thoughts has pushed the release date for Kinny’s album “Idle Forest Of Chit Chat” back to 23rd March. A few (very positive) reviews have already surfaced online and here are some of the things they said:

Over the last few months we have been working with Tru Thoughts recording artist Kinny. We have produced two songs (including the first single and title track) and recorded most of her album (due out January 2009) in our studio. One of the tracks we recorded for Kinny, “Backstreet Lust”, is featured on the Tru Thoughts compilation “Shapes 08:01″.
